چکیده
Paulownia (Paulownia tomentosa) is considered as one of the world's fastest-growing species trees and most widely used for commercial. This research was done a factorial experiment in Koya city, Erbil, Iraq during 2021-2022 to study effects magnetic water (MW) at (0, 500,1000, 1500 2000) gauss cadmium chloride (Cd) 3.33, 6.66 10 mg Kg-1soil) on some growth, physiological biochemical properties this plant. Results demonstrate that MW had non-significant differ regarding survived velocity cutting outgrowth compare using tap water, whereas Cd application increased outgrowth. At least powers significantly each plant leaf-area, stem diameter, shoot root fresh weight dry matter content, well all concentrations plants leaves number, diameter. more roots than shoots, where it has high or matter, compared control treatment. Low power (500 1000) performed better (1500 increasing content photosynthesis pigments. Utilizing greatly enhanced total carotenoids chlorophyll a, b, regardless device power. Chlorophyll (a b) were both reduced by concentrations; however low other treatments. High decreased peroxidase enzyme activity proline percent carbohydrate activity, ascorbic acid comparing control.

Effects of Azomite on Growth and Some Physiological and Biochemical Characteristics of Basil under Salt Stress Conditions
In order to investigate effects of Azomite application in reducing salinity stress in basil herb, a pot factorial experiment based on completely randomized design with three replications was conducted in the research greenhouse of Agriculture Faculty, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Treatments were consisted of salinity stress at three levels (0, 50 and 100 mM) as the first factor and the appli...
متن کاملEffects of Foliar Application of Salicylic Acid on Growth and Physiological Attributes of Cowpea under Water Stress Conditions
The possible alleviating effects of salicylic acid on protection of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) cv. Parastu under water stress conditions were investigated in the University of Zanjan Agriculture Research Station during 2008. Water stress was imposed by withholding irrigation at 50% flowering (flowering water stress, FWS) and when 50% of the pods grew 2-3cm (pod-formation water stress, PFWS). Sa...
متن کاملEffects of Seaweed Extract on Physiological and Biochemical Characteristics of Basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) under Water-Deficit Stress Conditions
Drought stress is one of the most important restricting factors for plant yield in arid and semi-arid regions. Seaweed extract, as a biofertilizer, enhances plant resistance against abiotic stresses via accelerating seed germination, root growth enhancement and uptake of plant nutrients. The present research was carried out to investigate the effects of foliar spraying of Ascophyllum nodosum se...
متن کاملEffects of Superabsorbents on Growth and Physiological Responses of Date Palm Seedling under Water Deficit Conditions
Irrigation is an inevitable part of agriculture which determines crop yield and thus food security. In modern era of agriculture, crop yield is determined on the basis of crop production per unit of water-use instead of crop production per land unit area. Deficit irrigation is introduced as a strategy for controlling water resources that leads to water resource preservation. Date palm requires...
متن کاملMorpho-physiological Characteristics of Brassica napus L. Under Cadmium Stress
Cadmium as a heavy metal is also considered as a serious threat for the environment. This element is accumulated in soil through industrial processes as well as phosphate fertilizers and aggregates into the food chain. This study was conducted in order to investigate the different levels of cadmium effects on growth features of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) plants. Root and shoot weight and heig...
